The Health Practice Regulations (2017 Revision) section 5, subsection (1) notes that in order for a practitioner to gain registration in the Cayman Islands, they must have registration from one of these seven countries: Australia, Canada, Jamaica, New Zealand, South Africa, the United Kingdom or the United States of America. NovoClinic is a new facility and they recruited a specialist with qualifications from Germany.
Cayman Healthcare Consulting assisted NovoClinic in several areas. First, CHCC helped NovoClinic in acquiring specialty registration from the GMC-UK in order for the physician to then gain registration in the Cayman Islands.
Next, CHCC guided NovoClinic through their renewal inspection planning and attended the actual inspection. As a result, the overall process was very successful.
Finally, NovoClinic is in partnership with a clinical research project. CHCC not only guided them through the application process, but also advocated with the relevant government departments on their behalf when needed.
“Cayman Healthcare Consulting is a service provider that assists with the various HPC/MDC licensing processes at which they excel. Ms. Quappe’s profound knowledge of this sector and its requirements allows her to guide and direct others through this challenging process fast and efficiently. In addition, we found her very caring and pleasant to work with. She often went way above and beyond her required duties. We can only praise her work attitude and would recommend her to anyone needing assistance.” – Anja Gale, NovoClinic Cayman
